RB need to know a couple of things. The hole #'s which you learn in little league football and the main thing you have to know as a RB is who you are blocking to protect the QB. you must be a good blocker on third downs! Running with the ball is easy! so i am not worried about switching the coaches out. skilled position to another skill position should be an easy transfer.

What I care about is that Richard Samuel learns to run north-south and not east-west. He reminds me a lot of Danny Ware, who was a great talent but poorly coached. He overthought things on a David Carr level, shuffling his feet looking for a better angle to gain ten yards when he should have just been bolting forward and getting three. I see the same tendencies in Richard Samuel, who's faster than #28 was and has the potential to be just sub-Knowshon out on the field.

Of course, if Caleb King has a single 100-yard game next year I'll nominate that intern for AC of the year!

Samuel is a big, strong kid , but he has a tendency to run too tall. He is going to get his clock cleaned if he doesn't get down a little. I believe we can get the job done at RB next year, but it will be by committee, IMO.
