According to Chip Towers, it looks like it's JoeC and everybody else come Spring Practice. His blog is here:

I like this choice. I want another year like 2005, or better. DJ was a revelation, and Joe knows the offense well enough and has enough talent (unlike the last Joe who took over in year five) to win. What do you all think?

We'll be just fine.
Here's wishing Knowshon and Matthew great success and good fortune in the NFL. They will represent Georgia very well.
This is what makes college football so much fun for me. Our teams are always changing with new talent. And do not forget that we are also losing a good WR in #1.
The team as it is going to be will be new for all of us and fun to watch. Looking forward to the 2009 season. Go Dawgs.

I liked JoeC when we recruited him. i really thought he was the next DG. hopefully he is!!! The exciting part about this day is look for a Logan Gray package no matter who the QB is. THE WILD DAWG!!!!!
Gentlemen the question is our replacement at RB. Maybe once they hit the field they will change my mind but I was not impressed at all with CK and RS. I know you can't replace Knowshon just like Herschel, but these two are like Lumpkin and Brown. I like to have one goto guy and bring in a back to let him rest. i don't see either carring a team?

Joe knows the system which is HUGE in college football and he will have the luxury of a beast of an OL in front of him.
Have to agree with golfdawg, quite concerned about RB as CK and RS have been underwhelming. Really have been disappointed in CK, maybe next year he will show the talent I thought he had when he gets good playing time and into his rhythm.

Guys, I am super PUMPED to see Joe Cox FINALLY get his shot at LEADING the Dawgs offense!
As for the RB situation, was I overly impressed w/King or Samuel this year, NO; it would be hard to say that I was since neither had a breakout game but I will say this....C. King made the 1st defender miss on nearly 100% of his carries. The kid obviously has quick feet and good vision. Speaking of kids, do yall realize that Richard Samuel is still only 17 years old. That's absurd. He can't legally vote until Feb. of 2009. He's only gonna get better! I'm VERY excited about 2009. Our players and coaches are gonna be more HUNGRY and more FOCUSED in 2009 I have no doubts.
wlayton,
In reponse to a prior post of yours, I did indeed read about Greg Reid's academic struggles after posting my original message but I still like the thought of him spurning UF for UGA; even if we have to wait 1 year while he gets his grades up at Hargrave, seeing Greg become a Dawg and NOT a Gator will be well worth the wait.
