Yeah it is great... for our defense. Hear me out... It's easy to listen to a leader talk the good talk. Even easier when he's on the sideline and not out there being seen practicing what he preaches. Might as well be a coach or \"motivator\", right? Point is, he wasn't out there for 11 games this season. Not at all his fault. But eventually, this LEADER can lose some of the younger guys' open ears and they need someone to be the leader on the field. That was part of the problem this year. Rennie Curran, Geno Atkins etc... GREAT PLAYERS. But maybe not quite the leader vocally and by action on the field as Owens is. I GENUINELY belive that this will put a big spark into the D next year. I see BIG IMPROVEMENTS. GO DAWGS!!!
On another note... I can normally read people pretty well when I look at them while they speak. That being said, I was really excited to see reporters asking Stafford and Moreno questions about the draft on Georgiadogs.com so that I could see their facial expressions and emotions show through when they looked into the camera. My conclusion, take it however you like, is one of optimism. I think that they stay for next year. I also hope that this will open more conversation up about this as I think it's the most important thing going on in the Bulldog Nation right now. I don't care if it gets repetitive. Oh, and screw the rookie salary cap. We won't see it for a couple of years, at least. Again, GOOOOOOOOOOOO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
