Perspective

I read this forum a lot but do not post much. Mostly I just read and agree with some posts and disagree with most. Obviously, I do NOT look through red and black glasses so I think that I am pretty objective.
I hear a lot of Dawg fans very down on their team right now (you know who you are). Last year when Florida lost 4 games I never was critical of my team because I realized that our lines were decimated by injuries. We played true freshman lineman on both sides of the ball and on defense actually ran out of players and had to bring over an O lineman to play DT. Also, the one man show was injured for one of those loses so I cut them a lot of slack.
Now I ask, what would the Dawgs be doing if their lineman were healthy?
Keep it in perspective . I will agree with some of the complaints about the team, especially the stupid penalties!

But...most of our injuries are on the offensive side of the ball where we lead the league (if not the team then MS is). One DL and one LB (where there is a lot of depth) on the defensive side where we are absolutely awful. Not a great comparison with UF last year, their injuries hurt them badly on both side of the ball.

We just aren't very disciplined and that is coaching.

I'm not ready to jump off the Richt bus. I still think he's the man for the job.
I think we all have valid points. There's no doubt we all love our Dawgs.
Call me crazy, I still believe in Coach Richt. And don't doubt for a minute that other schools wouldn't jump on having him as their head coach.

I agree wlayton. Willie's gotta go. Our team shows no discipline and we continue, every week, to play to the level of our competition. It is getting tiresome and hard to even get up for a game. I raked leaves Saturday during the game and am glad I did so.

averagedawg, I want to make sure I'm not misunderstood......love CMR and don't want him to EVER leave.....want Searles to stay as well......not sure about the rest (DC and special teams)

averagedawg, I am another that has not or will not call for CMR's head. I think that he will look at what needs to be done with the Dawgs and make the hard calls. I truly believe that his \"loyalty\" is to UGA first, others second. I appreciate CMR's loyalty to players and coaches, but there are hard calls that have to be made sooner or later.
