Pete Carroll complainging about the BCS

USA Today has an article with Pete Carroll talking about the BCS. Bottom line is, he doesn't understand it nor like it. Then he makes a statement about no one knowing who to talk to to get it changed. That is BS. Everyone knows it is the college presidents who do not want a playoff.

Yeah, JoePa was complaining too. It's funny when it helps Carroll's team or Joe's conference, the BCS is the greatest thing since sliced bread. But when it leaves their team out (and rightfully so based on their lame schedules), all they do is whine about it.

Actually I saw the video clip of both of them and Joe Paterno does not really care. He says the only thing he can control is this week's Iowa game. ESPN and the talking heads, once again, have run out of things to talk about. And ya know, the more we hear negative about the BCS, the better. If USC ends up where they want some kind of playoff as well, being one of the Disney darlings, that to me holds more bearing than anything our president or any other BCS school's president thinks. Just my thought.

The part I was talking about Joe is he said something to the effect of the players should have a vote on whether they have a playoff or not because it would be a shame if the kids worked their butts off and didn't get a chance to play for the NC because of the BCS polls.

And JoePa is right. It is a shame that year in and year out. These young men most of whom will join the work unions not the players union. They work there tail end off so some moron that went to a different school can talk there school up to swing the votes.

Maybe we should have used them for McCain.
