The coming Florida dynasty...

It occurs to me that if Tebow decides to return for his senior season, Florida will probably be the consensus number one next year, with all their speedsters back on offense (even if Harvin doesn't come back, its a minor point with Rainey, Demps, etc).

I also don't think Florida will lose again this season. There really isn't any good reason to think they won't continue to do what they've been doing since the Mississippi loss. I think they'll beat Bama in the SEC championship game.

Which means that if either the Texas-Texas Tech winner or Penn State slip up, the Gators are your 2008 national champions.

And if that offense comes back next year, they'll be the 2009 champs too.

Friends, it is entirely possible that we are about to watch Florida win back to back national championships and 3 in 5 years.

How will they not beat us next year? This was the do or die year for the Dawgs. Stafford and Moreno will be gone. We'll be breaking in a new QB and Caleb King will be the leader of the offense. Next year is a 9-4 rebuilding season.

...and if 9-4 is a rebuilding year, then perhaps you ought to review the Goff/Donnan era for what constitutes misery. Christ, I can remember dreaming of 9 wins. Fact is, there's a season ahead of us this year. As hard as this is to swallow, we could be 11-2 at the end of it.

Yeah, we could still be Capital One Bowl champs.

There is no dynasty, they played good but we beat ourselves with penalties, ints, and fumbles, if not for that it would have been a close game
