If we win and Ohio State wins, Ohio State will remain at least one spot behind us. I don't think you realize the media sentiment against tOSU getting back to the title game, only to be embarrassed by 'Bama or Texas or us or Florida. Believe it or not, they want a good game. There's something to be said for OSU barely moving the needle after beating a good Michigan State team 45-7. I've heard several members of HYPEspn talking about how, even though they won handily, they still looked bad and Terrell Pryor hasn't arrived yet. Don't be all doom and gloom. A big win at LSU on national television does a lot for our rankings.
Also, if we win out, it means a victory over Florida and a win over #2 Alabama in the SEC title game. Forget what the pollsters do to us eight games in. Focus on winning out and getting to Atlanta. I can't believe, after the reactionary voting for the past two years, that you even still care this much about the rankings.
