A Message from Coach Richt

I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to the all the fans who came out last Saturday, wearing all black to support our team. I also want to thank the student body and the Redcoat Band who arrived early and stayed late. It was a very special moment when you sang, “It’s Great to be a Georgia Bulldog,” near the end of the game. That was very meaningful to me and to all our players and recruits.
I am very excited about the future of this team as we compete for the Eastern Division Championship in the SEC.

P.S. Our Coaches and Players feel like we owe you one because of our first half performance vs. Alabama. Please keep fueling the fire of the awesome Georgia Bulldog Spirit.

I love it when the coaches acknowledge the fans. Sometimes it must be easy to forget that the team doesn't live in a vacuum.

Richt is a class act.

I have a feeling that CMR has started a FIRE under some of these guys tails. I expect big things next week against UT. I LOVE IT!! I don't think we will have a first half like we did against Bama the rest of the season, or atleast I hope not. I also have a feeling that if we do meet BAMA again later on in Atlanta that there will be a different outcome.

O im sure he has my friend and true if we meet them again on DEC 1, 2008 we will be on top. I dont care what people say about BAMA letting down during the second half, we were shown how good we can be in the second half and just think about it if the first half didn't exist we would have been up 30-10!!! Also had some guys at my job who aren't dawg fans tell me how much heart and determination we had shown by almost making a miracle comeback.
