NEW RANKINGS!!!!

Can someone explain to me how we dropped to #11 when FL and USC lost to unranked conference opponents. Yes, I understand that we played horrible in the first but at least Bama was a top 10 team. I know the media despises us but i didn't think it was that bad, we dropped 8 spots and lost to a good opponent. COME ON!!!!!!!

They never wanted us to be ranked that high to begin with, and were looking for any excuse they could find to drop us...and we gave it to them.

They said we were overrated and couldn't live up to expectations and we ran our mouths about how we never get any respect and then we went and pulled that stunt last night and they are (rightly) punishing us for it.

USC lost to Oregon State!!!! That's the only thing that pisses me off!!! How in the heck are they ranked above us!?!? BCS comes out when? Next week? This is horse s@#t!! Whatever... GO DAWGS!!!

My only problem that we are behind USC, they lost to Oregon St and only have 2 wins, we have 4 wins and lost to the current number 2 team. Yeah we were down 31-0 at half, USC was down 21-0 at half to a much weaker team. There is no way they should be higher than us.

The only thing we have to worry about now is each game week to week and things will fall into place. Mizzou has Texas and thats it till the championship game, Oklahoma has Texas and Texas tech, Penn state tough games on the road, BYU is this years Hawaii they have TCU and Utah left and thats it. There is a lot of football left and if we take care of business and win the SEC we might not be left out in the cold this year??? lot of football to be played yet and a lot to figure out before TN comes to town. i see us and FL being in the top five in NOVEMBER!!

golferdawg, really good post. Feelings are running a little high right now, as to be expected. Just hunker down, make that 2 foot putt and move on to the next hole. Too much credibility put into the polls, and especially at this time of the year. Texas now has the best defensive coach in the nation in my mind, and a pretty good team on the other side of the ball. Oklahoma/Texas outcome might surprise some folks this year. The remainder of this year is going to be exciting to say the least. GO DAWGS!
