Welcome Back Brannan was created by dapolla
According to the Athens Banner-Herald, Brannan Southerland is returning this week and could serve as the personal protector on the punting team. I don't know whether that means he's getting limited special-teams play in anticipation of a start at fullback against Tennessee or whether he's going to come in to start against Alabama, but it'll be good to get him back between the hedges.

During the weekly press conference, CMR said he would have a limited role as the protector. He did not indicate that Brannan would get more playing time.
