Could we drop to #4 next week was created by GaBoi
ASU lost to UNLV this weekend taking them out of the top 25. So when/if we beat them this week its not really going to mean much despite the W since they're no longer ranked. My question is do you think this years tradition with teams jumping us despite a W and being undefeated is going to continue? Its really getting aggrivating now! We are still getting no respect. What do we have to do?

If UF or LSU jumped us, no problem, we have to play them anyway. If Mizzou does, they play Texas, who plays OU, and so on and so forth. USC usually finds a way to lose a winnable game. What we have to do is not worry about the polls and win our games and our conference. If we do that, when the dust settles, we'll be in Miami at the end.

no one is going to give us respect till november 2nd after we beat FL. USC and OK are playing great football but this is a marathon and they look like they are running the 40 yard dash. there is no doubt if we win out with this schedule we will be playing in the NC.

Garnett.....one thing UF did for the SEC is, they set tone of respect for the SEC after demolishing Ohio State. You won't see an Auburn situation again.
Also, since ASU lost this week and will be gunning for us, dropping to #3 should have our guys furious and ready to play ASU next week. The #3 ranking could be a God send.

Garnett, I do remember AU 4 years ago, but in addition to what wlayton said, I think the computers (and some of the pollsters) wiil give us the nod over OU for our schedule, and I'm still not convinced OU will run the table. I feel confident if we go undefeated, including the SECCG, we'll be in the NC game.
