Big game tomorrow Dawg fans!
So many questions:

They say, CMU QB Dan LeFevour is the MAC's version of Timmy Tebow, are we worried?
How many/few points will our defense allow?
Will Stafford get the elusive 300yd game?
Will King or Samuel outrush Moreno?
How many catches will AJ Green haul in?
Will Logan Gray get to return a punt?
Wile the Dawg fans be real fired up by the 3:30 kickoff?
Does CMR leave the starters in longer for style/poll points if the game is well in control or does he play it safe to keep the Big Dawgs healthy prior to upcoming 3 game guantlet?
What's the over/under on the number of times LeFevour taste the turf Between the Hedges?
Will Loran give us a report on what UGA VII had for breakfast?
How many times will Larry say, \"MY GOSH, he's only a Freshman!\"?

And finally, the question of the day....





WHAT THE HELL IS A CHIPPEWA???




Seriously, my dear great grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee Indian and I'm pretty sure I have some childhood memories of stories she told me about how her team used to play the Chippewas in the old Tribes of the Nation football scrimmages. Seems like this one particular year the Chippewas had this highly skilled, hot-shot QB come down to the home field located on the West side of the Savannah River expecting to just light up the scoreboard against the home team. Well, unfortunately for him, the quick & powerful Cherokee defense had the young Chippewa running for his life all game long. As the story goes, after suffering a tremendous defeat to the Cherokee team, the young Chips QB returned to his native land up North and went on to have a very successful football career leading his Chippewas to many a victory over neighboring tribes. However, never again in the great history of these two tribes did you see the Chippewas make the trip down South to play the mighty Cherokee Nation.

I think the Dawgs win by a healthy margin. I think half UGA coaching staff used to be at CMU at one point. That may help.

LeFevour will have a decent day but not good enough to get the win. We have experience against the spread option so I don't see it being that much of an equalizer.

I say the D gives up ~20 pts.

I don't think Stafford throws for 300+ unless one of those long ones actually get caught. It seems we throw one or two a game and just barely miss them.

I don't really know what the deal is with the ground game this year, but if I had to bet money I say Moreno sees limited action in this one too unless its close.

I hope to see A.J. Green light up the CMU secondary this week.

I just want to see another dominating performance. Go Dawgs!!!!

As usual, I worry about these games, with SC coming the following week. They remind me of Troy, who gave us fits last year.

averagedawg, you & I must be drinking from the same fountain. Disregarding the rather assuming nature of my original post. Yep, I too am worried about CMU. They are VERY MUCH like Troy & we all remember how much of a struggle it was for the Dawgs to put away Troy last year. CMU actually might be even better so hopefully the Dawgs will prepare and execute better to avoid another scare?

Relax, fellas. Big day for the Dawgs tomorrow. Lefevour is Tebow Lite, and we own Tebow. Their D is a joke. Big stat day for Stafford and all the running backs, and all in the first 3 quarters. Dawgs romp in a laugher.
