Oledawgs annual observation

Well faithful its that time again. Getting close to trading some helmut paint again. Last year I believe I thought we were young and would surprise lost of folks. YEE HAW! I'll say, were it not for lapses with the URENGES and Carolina Chikens where would we have gone. Last year was a darn good year.

This year we have a lot to look forward to. We have the line with more experience, QB with more experience, a RB that has potential with a backup that may also be a surprise. Receiving corps that is better than we've seen in years. (they don't drop the ball as often) The defense is strong with playmakers.

All that said, the crux of the problem will be focus and intensity. One week at a time, no reading the press releases, no big heads, and IF, we get junkyard dawg mean, and stay focused, play our hearts out, give it 110% every play (like Thomas Davis, David Pollack, Greg Blue, Scott Woerner, Jake Scott, Bill Stanfill, Terry Hoage, Welton, Middleton, Ros, Bell, Fisher, .....), Folks we can have it all this year. We darn sure have the coaches, we have the players, the experience, and the desire, can we put it together is the question. To our team, our dawgs, our nation....HUNKER DOWN! Get mean and nasty you JUNKYARD DAWGS, GET AFTER THEIR A$$! Its yours for the taking!GO DAWGS! SIC EM!

It's already getting unbearable down here in Jacksonville with the Gators non stop trash talking...........just want our boys to play up to their tremendous potential and it should be a season to remember. Go Dawgs!

Great observations, I could not agree more. It will come down to nasty defense and mental preparedness. Am I ready for some football or what.

Don't fret Southernlover, let them talk, gators are known for opening their alligator mouth and trying to cover it with a mockingbird backside. talk is cheap. helmut paint is real!nothing better than hitting someone and listening to them moan asking where did you come from, bring it on! I hear the same trash from Tn. fans, they own us now, we can't beat them, etc.......
All I can do is hunker down and wait for Oct.11. It must be something about the color orange.
