I have a co-worker here in Tallahassee that is a UGA alum. Tallahassee is a long way from Athens, so this story may have grown WAY out of porportion in the time it took to get way down here, but here it is, anyway. He told me that Pres. Adams was shopping around to other Bulldog breeders, most notably a breeder in California, to find UGA VII. If this story is true, it's a complete slap in the face to the Seilers, and it will create such a stink in Athens that we will be able to smell it way down here in Tallahassee. Anybody have anything on this rumor??
Why, yes, I do, and that is that it's a load of crap. Sonny Seiler is expected in the next week or two to announce which of Uga VI's pups will be named Uga VII. He has assured loyal Dawg fans that \"the lineage is secure.\" You can read more about it on georgiadogs.com.

They are still upset about CMR leaving. The funny thing is, the last game CMR coached was when FSU lost the BCS title game to Oklahoma in 2000. FSU only got a safety in that game, and the FSU people down here were telling me that UGA was making a big mistake hiring Richt. Well, I'll take that \"mistake\" any day. Now all I hear from them is 'I wish he were back here, and we will get him back one day'.
