Yeah, wlayton, I have found that swinging the bat dramatically increases your odds of getting a hit. Some of our batters might have done better if they didn't even take a bat to the plate--they still wouldn't have gotten on base, but they would have at least made the pitcher throw an extra pitch since they wouldn't be able to swing at his \"dirt-ball\" pitch. :laugh:
