Here are some good takeaways from last night:
1) We never gave up. Even though we were down, we got back in it a couple of times. The bats never quit on us, the PITCHING did. And we haven't had two bad pitching outings in a row all year.
2) We still scored 10 runs. On any other night, you score ten, you win. We have scored 7 and 10. That ain't bad. Our pitching has to shut everyone down. That's what has to happen.
3) Nathan Moreau is pitching tonight. That's not a bad problem to have. Dean Weaver will be ready tonight as well. That's fairly good as well. Except for last night, we really haven't used a lot of pitchers per game this CWS.
4) Oh, and Josh Fields will be ready. And he wants that 19th save to get the season crown. Oh, and Gordon Beckham wants that 28th and 29th home run, to get that season crown as well. Oh, and Beckham and Poythress are vying for most RBI in UGA history. Oh, and David Perno is a master motivator. Oh, and Matt Cerione will be MAD.
