Let's hear it for those Criminoles!!

Starting WR and sometime QB Preston Parker, who was FSU's best playmaker in 2007, was arrested late Monday night or early Tuesday morning and charged with possession of marijuana and with carrying a concealed .45 pistol in his car. The gun charge is a felony, which may well see him kicked off the team and out of school. FSU was already going to be without a number of players for the first 4 games of the upcoming season because of the academic fraud scandal last season, and now may be without their best offensive player, who was voted MVP of the FSU team for 07.

It's a crying shame that such talented players cannot let go of their \"thug life\" mentality when given every opportunity to be a success in today's world. There has been much wailing and gnashing of teeth down here in Tallahassee over this latest scandal involving a football player.....So, let's hear it one more time for those Criminoles !!

I think poor ole Bobby lost control of his program a long time ago, about the time Coach Richt left.

Every last FSU fan down here tells me all the time that they wish Mark Richt had been named the \"head coach in waiting\" instead of Jimbo Fisher. They realize all too late what a great coach and person they lost when we were fortunate enough to hire CMR.

Parker is in more trouble now.....He failed to comply with the terms of probation on another charge by getting arrested the other day. It looks pretty certain that he will not be back for FSU.

Too bad it's not UF.
