Blair Walsh article

Roaming around on the computer this afternoon, thought I would pass this article along, thinking that maybe some have not seen it.

Blair Walsh wants to be a Bulldog. Means so much when the heart and head meet halfway and make decisions together. My daughter teaches in Broward County, going down tomorrow and visit . . . she is also a huge UGA fan, even though graduating from UCF. Georgia first, UCF second, there, got that out of the way.

Hope you enjoy this as much as I did. Dang, what a super signing. Think that maybe this freshman has some weight on his shoulders? He will handle it well.

Awesome article Buc, thanks. I think it was HUGE for him to kick off the ground his whole senior season. That alone shows what kind of head the kid has on him.

Great article, a comfort to me. I have had major concerns about losing Brandon. Hopefully this kid won't have to pull one out for us but sooner or later it all comes down to a FG.
I was reading in USA Today, we got three kids in Rivals top 50 players. Man, am I excited.

averagedawg, hope Green's grades are good. They say he's has progressed better than expected, so that's a good sign.

wlayton, sometime back you mentioned to me that you were excited about this young man. Being the Dawg() that you are . . . of course I mean that in the best sense of the word, it excited me. Must have someone that can kick the ball through the uprights. Very important to LAUNCH the ball on the kickoff. With the speed that we have on this team, means the opposition has to move the ball at least 80 yards.

You are so right, this signing of Blair Walsh will mean as much to our championship hopes as any position on the team. So much has changed in my lifetime, and the changes at UGA are definitely a positive change. Sure getting hard to control my emotions, know that you and the rest of the guys and gals are the same way. Go You Silver Britches!
