Where is the best place to catch a movie in Jacksonville?

I'm going to the Florida game on the 28th and, since I'm getting down there in the afternoon on the 27th, I'd like to catch Saw III at around 4pm or so before the night-before-the-game festivities begin.

Any recommendations for theatres in the area?

Let's see. The game starts at 7:45 PM, so I guess it will pretty much be over for you guys by 8:10 PM. That means you can still make the 8:30 showing of the remake of The Stupids, which this time I understand is a documentary on the so-called "dawg nation."

The best theater in town is Tinsel Town off of Southside Blvd. It is easy to get to. Tell me what area you are staying in and I kind lay it out.

I'm staying at the Clarion Hotel at the airport.

You'll head south through down town. After about 6-7 miles you'll get off on the southside exit heading east. Tinseltown will be down on your left about 3/4 of a mile.

Sorry, I meant Tinseltown will be on your right after you get on Southside. And you will be going south on 95. Still shaken up by the Vandy game.
