Just to clarify. LA is the abbreviation for Louisiana. I've seen many SEC games, been to the cocktail party, many bowl games and the last two SEC title games for the Dawgs. Although playing in big games such as the rivalry with the gaytors this is still a young team and we have quite a few starters that have yet to play in a bowl game in a big setting like a Sugar or Rose bowl. Kno Mo just found out this year what it is like to play in these big time games such as the cocktail party and the tech rivalry. The experience gained only ensures steps in the direction of the end we all have in mind. A BCS national championship. Boycotting a bowl only shows a lack of class and is not worth the risk especially when it is all in the name of a playoff which will realistically not happen.

The playoff most certainly will happen if teams like us, Oklahoma, Virginia Tech, and Kansas wipe our collective ass with the BCS invitations and mail them back in. How would the system work if they were unable to feature the best teams every year?

One word summarizes why that will not happen.... I bleieve Pink FLoyd even made worte a song about it...

If teams banned together, how much MONEY would an empty Sugar and other Bowls, make????

I think a playoff will happen sooner than later because with the parity in the sport there will likely be more seasons like this one and I don't think the B(C)S can handle another season like this one. DawgnLA, glad to hear you're from the good LA and not the left coast.
