When watching film on Travon Walker, backs up the feeling(s) that I have about this group of coaches in Athens. Travon's talents go much further than athleticism, young man was blessed with serious personal traits such as those shown in the video below. Incredible job once again by those that work behind the scene.
Probably many have watched Travon Walker commit video, never hurts to look a second time.
"Go Dawgs" were the words out of Kirby's mouth after the commitment . . . . "publically". Coach had this locked up prior to media publication, for sure.
yankeedawg1, solid point you and I have agreed on for some time. 2019 recruiting is paramount in the big picture of Georgia's future in college "elite" football. This group of coaches (most/many of them) had a plan put into place quickly after Kirby moved "back" to Athens. Lost Tracy Rocker along the way, do however like the way both Rocker and Smart handled the change like "grown ass men". Left little for the media to play the "click" game with. There are still a lot of slots to be filled in 2019, Smart and Company will select more young men that will continue what we are witnessing in our football program . . . . Growth in the "DEPTH" area. That was a disaster not long ago.
Fingers crossed that Savion Williams likes what he sees in Athens this week. Little doubt that he will be shown the values of wearing the Red and Black. He would/could be the last link to the 2019 defensive line class. That still leaves 10 or 11 recruiting spaces for the 2019 season. We are finally at a point that we do not have to use every one of the 25 or so spots. Say again, loving the "Depth" picture. In the past, and that goes back a long way in Georgia Football, seldom did a 5* or highly rated player sit and "learn". Best system I have seen in Athens and that dates back as far as I can remember. Butts on down.
