Coach Pittman recruiting Xavier Truss. Young man spent some time in Athens, apparently liked what he saw.

Folks in Florida are hoping against hope that "Rambo" does not leave Florida and join up with Georgia. Coach Scott is master recruiting again with Derick Hunter. Derick plays against very good high school talent in Florida and on many occasions makes it look easy. Crossed fingers.

Check his pad level in the video below.

Absolutely Buc..... program process in Athens.....worst kept secret in college football....

Coaches and recruits hear and understand.....no smoke and mirrors...

Better yet no Carney Barker HC standing outside the tent...

Hoping that you will step inside..based on promises. ......

Nope.... nothing new here to see in the Classic City....

yankeedawg1, beginning to see what happens to a program when the success level reaches greater heights. There will be specific targets that this coaching staff will put enormous energy into, meaning recruiting with more than a shotgun approach. Smart and Company have introduced the Georgia FAN Base to a totally different approach to both signing and playing time, based on ability and compliance. The mold(s) have been cast and those that truly want to compete and play in Athens know that competition runs two and three deep. Some that are very good players will look, visit and make their decisions on self evaluation after checking the roster. UGA Football has not in my many years seen this continuing flow of young pups that want to compete with those that are the same or close to the same in talent level(s).

From where i sit, this is what most FANS want, have wanted for years, football in Athens to be played on the highest level of college football. One missed coverage cost us a very good chance at a Natty this past season. For all intents and purposes, the team that won the Natty was on the ropes most of the game. Beat a very good Oklahoma team, put Auburn in their place after being humiliated during the regular season. FANS have every right to expect more, no more roller coaster rides, memories of the past. All about coaching now.
