James Cook . . . .

Another incredibly talented young man. Can line up at running back, take direct snaps as is often seen in Athens. Great hands, lined up at wide receiver often in high school. Toss sweep, high school team ran the same play that Chubb made famous in Athens.

One thing for sure . . . . with all of the talent that now enjoys room and board at Georgia, offensive coaches have an open book when it comes to play calling on Saturdays.

Remembering when Sony Michel first arrived in Athens, name was not a familiar one with many FANS, Nick Chubb was the man. That is not a slant, can't speak or should not speak about what we do not know. As time passed, Sony's value rose like the recent stock market. Comparison I am trying to make . . . . James Cook played against top caliber competition in high school, young pup is going to make a lot of folks very happy in the 2018 Season. Super talent. Bet that.

James Cook could play for any college in the USA. James Cook chose UGA.

With the enormous amount of talented players in Athens, brings this thought to mind . . . .

Number 11, Jake Fromm.

Jake can be an even better quarterback his sophomore year. Jake is battle tested, that is a fact, he plays in the SEC. Jake was given the "honor" of changing the play at the line of scrimmage. Freshman that knew how to read defensive alignments at a fast pace. Jake will now become the offensive leader, unquestioned. Offensive line matures early in 2018, depth included, going to give Jake Fromm that extra split second to make a play. That is huge. Middle of the 2018 Season we should be firing on all cylinders.

Not going to get into the "click" battles as to which quarterback will start and play. Jake Fromm is our starter and it will be incredibly hard to knock him off of his roost.

With all of the talent on scholarship, coaches will be graded at a higher level in 2018. Should be. 2018 start and finish comes down to coaches and "their abilities". JMHO.

Looking over our 2018 schedule yankeedawg1, believe I see some games where the number of points we put on the board will not matter. Not a doubt that there will be many given playing time during their Freshman year. Not about the points, that is urban meyer football, all about developing these young pups. Not a doubt that Smart and Company are building for the future as well as returning to ATL and maybe beyond. Like it when the "corporation" has a "process" that is called development through leadership.

Coach'em Up . . . . :)

As mentioned earlier, going to be a lot of media talk about quarterback position. Understandable, to a point. Personally think that Jake and Justin (the J&J) will keep practices focused. Another giant step with the hiring of Kirby Smart.
