Think about it this way, wlayton: we're playing for the Bulldog name. The Diamond Dawgs just dropped a weekend series to the Gardner Webb Bulldogs...an NIT win over the Fresno State Bulldogs would help us solidify dominance of the Bulldog name.

Hey, I'm with ya in ALWAYS pulling for the Dawgs to win, at anything, tiddely-winks, horse shoes etc, anything (and I will watch the game), but the NIT has and will never excite me. My opinion is to have the NIT preseason tourney to START the NCAA BB season and delete the post season NIT tourney for the NCAA Tourney.
