Eye opener...

I was just looking at our schedule in anticipation of the bowl game and I noticed something that gave me quite a nauseating feeling:

We lost every game this season in which we didn't score at least 40 points.

That's quite unsettling, if I do say so myself. Gotta be able to pull out those close tight defensive battles in order to achieve anything.

I believe KD has spoken about D winning championships. Ours just needs to learn how to win games. I love our O scoring points on other teams but I can't stand watching the other team drive down the field over and over again.

Buc put up some good information about the defense in another thread. They made progress this year and I expect significant progress next year with more time in the 3-4.

Looking forward to watching Marcus Dowtin (#38) in the upcoming bowl game. Believe this young fellow is going to be a terror. Expect a lot from MD in 2011. He has that "bad ass" edge that is needed and he is a super athlete.

Kentdaddy, really hoping that we get to see a lot of next years force in Memphis, especially the defense. Richt said that he wants to win the game, great so do I and many others. Time to start pointing to the game in Atlanta against a team that will be ready for us.

Have to say that Boise St. looked pretty dang good the other night. Good news is they lose 2 very good WR's and believe another great player or two.


Guess you all heard that AJ declared for the NFL draft.
