Miami is showing us how to stop Paul Johnson and company tonight.
If CWM is still our defensive coordinator when the Tech game roles around, I hope he's paying attention to his alma mater tonight.

Well, if he's not taking notes, all he has to do is pull out his notes from the first half of our game with the nerds last year. We owned them in the first half.

I agree w/both of you guys, BUT, I think it was pretty obvious that Tech was a TIRED bunch tonight after playing 3 games in 12 days (RIDICULOUS!) and Miami was FRESH after a BYE week.
Problem for us is that Tech has their BYE week prior to hosting the Dawgs while we'll be coming off a 4 game stretch that includes Florida, Tn Tech, Auburn, and Kentucky--UGGH!
Tonight was one of those games that you could've bet your life savings on Miami BEFORE the season started just by looking at both teams' schedules. IMHO, if GT and Miami played on Sat. instead of Thursday, Tech would've been MUCH sharper.
I still DESPISE Thug U and was actually rooting for the NATS but oh well--THWGT!

Along these same line regarding a WELL RESTED team; Arkansas has had 2 weeks to prepare for our Dawgs. Meanwhile, CMR was quoted as saying, \"the boys looked tired\" concerning yesterday's practice.
Yeah, I'm worried!

1) We had OUR bye week prior to losing to Tech last year. Doesn't have the same oomph as it does concerning the Cocktail Party.
2) Arkansas has no proven players save Ryan Mallett, who couldn't even make it work in the Big Ten. They have played Missouri State. I'm not super-worried.

Btw......if I were going to answer the question in a previous post about what OC would you go after to replace Bobo?.......easy answer.....Mark Whipple.....unbelievable play caller, GT had NO idea how to defend UM's offense.
Another tidbit....Mallet was totally in the wrong system at Michigan, he is not a spread option QB but IS a pro style QB that is perfect for Petrino's passing attack...we will have trouble defending their offense, I believe.
