Good Morning to all, The following is from this mornings ABH Loran Smith.

Keith Gray, the Bulldogs weight-staff assistant who played for Grantham at Virginia Tech, said this week, "He explained the concept of the 3-4 defense to the players in five minutes. They understood the concept immediately. It was very impressive."

He speaks in the simplest of terms and will teach from that perspective.
"NFL players," he said the other day, "are not any smarter than college players. They're just older."

His defensive philosophy is simple: "Attack. Be physical at the line of scrimmage. Play aggressively. Put stress on the quarterback."

Yeah, me too. Hope they don't hurt AM...

It certianly sounds like we have 3 very good new defensive coaches

I had hopped that we would get ATTILA THE HUN - but sounds like maybe we got some of his relatives

I'm certianly looking forward to the first of many "smack down's" executed by the defense - will remind many of us of the one and only "ERK"

Like Grantham says - you can't loose if you don't let um score

I also like his intention to "play the 11 best players"

Man I'm jacked. When he mentioned attack the QB, I keep thinking what Crompton said about our defense: "I knew what they would run just by the way they lined up." Thank goodness TG is here
