Has anyone heard anything on Stafford or Moreno? 7 Months ago
|

I believe Geno said he would be back, but im not sure. I really hope we get Stafford back... as much as an impact player Moreno is, there is no substitute for a veteran QB!
Go Dawgs!!!

Let's let them make that decision. It's not all about the money to everyone. I have hopes, but will refrain from stating anything I do not know as fact.

Hey flyindawg, guess I'm use to predicting things everyday in my business. You're right, sometimes logic isn't logical.

Between the two I hope Moreno comes back. Stafford is a decent college QB but he will never see the light in the pro game. He is just not that accurate on the long ball. I could see him becoming a West Coast QB, ala Rex Grossman but that is about it. He did not show this Dawg any touch for the long ball this year and that will hurt him in the Pros. If I were Stafford's agent/consultant I would suggest he come back for his Senior year to dis-prove the critics.
Moreno on the other hand is a much more rare commodity. In college or even the Pros for that matter you can win with a "manageable" QB but you need a stud RB to be a great team. Look at the Giants. Sure Eli is ok but he aint no stud. It is his offensive line and his RBs that win games.
I will take Moreno. Who cares about Stafford. All due respect and all.

bpatters69, Welcome
Don't think any NFL teams will be calling you for a scouting report.
Stafford will be a good NFL quarterback, greatness will come with a good team around him. Staffords NFL potential is a lot greater than KM's.

Puh-leeze. If Stafford declares, he's a top 3 pick guaranteed. Stafford will go pro simply because NFL teams are dying to get him. ESPN was talking about that two days ago and I couldn't agree more. Stafford fits the bill perfectly as a stud QB in the NFL. His arm is one the best in college football, his accuracy is sick and he has NFL QB size. Not only will he see the light in the NFL, he'll see the spotlight.
