i tell you why he should go.. he let 39 points scored 6 by int. come on he is like fat phil keeps getting worse not better. this defense was out of possition most of the 2nd half.

as my ball coach growing up said. DON'T LET THE PLAY GET TO THE OUTSIDE!!! you have to stay home on the triple option because if you let them get to the outside they run for 250yds!!

CWM it was nice having you through some good times but today you must be replaced ASAP.

just to clarify... no way you should score 42 and loose... botom line. Turnovers matter, but not to the point that they should erase a win when you score 42 points. Offenses turn the ball over, its inevitable... what isn't is that the opposing offense goes down the field and scores a touchdown immediately after! HOW MANY TIMES HAS IT HAPPENED THIS YEAR! We turn the ball over, and the defense allows a TD almost immediately afterward! WTF! BOW UP AND GROW A SET! Other teams turn the ball over too, and their defenses don't allow a TD nearly as easy as ours. Its time to get after a QB after a turnover to get one of your own, not sit back in coverage! Don't let the team go down the field. at worst, you should allow a field goal!

PS: I still think MS and KM will be back due to the fact that they both want a championship... at least I hope so...

Did you watch the game at all? The first half we stacked the box and kept them in check, at the start of the second half for some idiotic reason they come out playing a cover 3 formation dropping LBs back into coverage. All tech can do is run the ball, I know that, you know that, hell Uga knew that sitting in his house, so what I ask is why does the D-coordinator drop people into pass coverage allowing tech to score on 4 successive drives running the ball?

This loss is all on him, if he doesnt screw that up we win big.

I repeat, he needs to go, tonight.

Are you SERIOUSLY suggesting that the DC is not to blame when we score 42 and don't win??? Our D blows, they've given up 38+ in what, 5 games now? Unacceptable, and the DC is ultimately responsible for the D's performance.

It's not time for CWM to go...

It is way PAST TIME! He should have been replaced at the end of last year. As much as I love GA and UGA football, I personally can't stand namby pamby defense. In the SEC, you either play tough defense or you lose. You play aggressively or you settle for mediocrity. Imagine what today's game would have looked like if our offense wasn't cookin. Instead of a 45 to 42 loss, we would have been clobbered by GT 56 to 10 (remember? shades of Alabama, Florida).

Meanwhile, real football teams like Florida and Alabama run roughshod over opponents!!!!

as bad as this all sucks keep in mind it could be worse...it could be the donnan era again and we could be celebrating going to the oahu bowl

things could be much worse...and they have been in recent memory

rejoice in the fact that they may actually play in the chik fil a bowl now
rejoice in the fact that season ticket donations wont go up
rejoice in the fact that theres almost no way on earth staff and moreno both enter the draft
and remember...lots of returners including a battle tested Oline

swamphox you make an interesting point.... it could be worse... the problem with that is with WM at the helm we're getting there FAST. I've disliked his play calling since his very first year, his defenses have no attitude. After the 4th and 1 touchdown run by Moreno today I woulda liked to seen stafford and moreno in the defenses face getting after them to get the ball back. Regardless if you have a fired up DC that's not needed. If it weren't for our offense clicking this year it would already be worse. We should be sitting here saying, Man our defense won that game for us.. instead of man its a good thing we scored 56, cuz they scored 55!!

he needs to go asap i would even fire him before the bowl game and try and give someone else a chance with the defense because he should not be our defense a coordinator next year and if he is we are in serious trouble.

    ATHENS — Three players have been kicked off the Georgia football team for an undisclosed violation of team rules.

    UGA coach Mark Richt announced this morning that defensive back Nick Marshall, wide receiver Sanford Seay and  defensive back Chris Sanders have been dismissed from the team. All three are freshmen and were members of Georgia’s 2011 “Dream Team” recruiting class.
