I'm not big on speaking for everybody, but I'm going to do it here. We don't hate Mark Richt. In fact, I'd bet that many of us would like to have him as a neighbor or friend. And, if we're honest, it would be difficult to say that he has not been good for UGA. However, it's time to move from good to great, and that won't happen under Mark Richt.
The same goes for the players. We don't hate them, but we surely aren't ready to forgive play that falls many layers below their abilities. The thing is, for both the players and coaches, they knew this was the stage, the deal, when they signed on the dotted line. We have high expectations.

Party Line Again . . . Not

I think we have very reasonable expectations.
Show up prepared.
Never quit.
Be a serious competitor for the SEC championship at about the same frequency as the other top tier schools in the SEC. We have facilities, support, $, and ability to draw the athletes to do this at UGA.
I personally ask nothing more, and if we could consistently do the first two... everything else.. records, SEC and other championships.. would all take care of itself.
Those first two though..... they are not negotiable.
Time and time again though we see it... unprepared. Quitting... once should never happen but that too is a repeat offense.
NO EXCUSES - Last SEC championship 2005

C'mon kd....way out of line with that one.
How so? The dude has over stayed his welcome and abilities. Only hubris keeps him around.

Maybe just use the term....."resign"? Imo, "go to hell" was out of line, for anybody.....we're talking about a sport....
