TOPIC: Remembering a Combat Veteran

Remembering a Combat Veteran

The more I look at and analyze what Dabo Swinney is doing at Clemson, the more I appreciate and understand why these young men from different locales want to play for him. Good on you Dabo Swinney and Daniel Rodriguez.

When this young man was first publicized, I got in touch with Chip Towers at the AJC, thinking maybe he might be able to reach someone in Athens. Never heard a word, guess Chip was too busy with other things.

Too damn much neglect to these young Veterans returning from Iraq and Afganastan to simply pass them off. Those of you that have served know and many that haven't served appreciate. Too many don't take the time to count their blessings.

Thanks, Buc.
I applaud Clemson for giving the man a chance.
