Often players come and go from college to their next step in life without a plan.
Malcolm Mitchell did everything asked of him once committed to UGA.
Will always believe he was misused in Athens by a team that was actually upside down in many ways.
Malcolm spent his time becoming a part of the community. Many times players that are rated with a lot of stars tend to withdraw and not move forward, especially when injured.
Malcolm Mitchell could have been one of the very best defensive backs ever in Athens if he had played on that side of the ball exclusively, and had a coach like Jeremy Pruitt. Fact.
During the period that Malcolm was wearing the pads, my opinion, it was more about the coaches and their standing than their concern for Malcolm's advancement.
Hats off to you Malcolm Mitchell. No doubt your future is bright. You built bridges, did not burn them.
