Chizak is really polishing the apple on the SEC Network today. No way Foley brings him in.

With the talent that is available in Florida, year after year, Foley will not "experiment" this time around, did that with Muschamp. Going to be a big name, but there are big names that won't work under Foley.

Foley told the Bull Gators and others that Muschamp would be the coach until the end of the year. Many of the "good old boys" were not satisfied with that answer. Guess what, Foley tried to live on both sides of the option, leaving Muschamp and watching his butt with the "folks" that are totally upset not only with Muschamp, they are having serious thoughts about Foley.

There are some that "chirp" in the media about Chip Kelly, that is a possibility. Kelly runs offenses that young players like these days. If I were Chip Kelly and was offered, would jump in a heart beat. At some point, regardless of Philadelphia being 7-3 at this point, believe that Kelly is better suited for college football. Dangerous coach when he has talent to coach. Folks down here want to see points scored, they are leaning to the appointment being an offensive minded leader.

Still will not be surprised to see Will Muschamp latch on with Spurrier. Spurrier not happy with his defensive coordinator. Has not been for some time.

Computer went down over the weekend ogredawg, was in the middle of replying to a post you made in the game day thread. You mentioned the way Pruitt used his linebackers. That was a great post and not surprised at your observing what was going on.

Pruitt had Malzahn and Auburn on his mind from the beginning of the season, don't care what he says about that. He flat ass out coached Gus, and that is truly a fact. Don't think any of us would have expected to see the way he would use our linebackers. Leonard Floyd was "sat" the game before, then came back and played his butt off for the team and his coaches.

While Florida is going through some things, I am looking forward to what our defense brings in 2015. We know that there will be some "future stars" in the 2015 Class, from where I sit, expect that Pruitt/Rocker and Company know much better about the incoming young pups than we do. I sincerely hope that what we saw from our defense in 2014, certain games, certainly not the JAX game, continues to develop in 2015.

Players already on campus understand what Pruitt expects. Won't take long for the "newbies" to fall in line or . . . . Pruitt carries "pink slips" for those that don't get it. I feel comfortable with our defensive coaches that "ME" is not allowed. About damn time.

Sleeper......Jim McElwain at Colorado State. Saban brought him in as OC after Saban's 1st year at Bama when he went 7-6. The next year they went 12-2.....rest is history.

Pro style coach he took CS from three consecutive seasons of 3-9 to now a 9-1 season. Believe Foley has him on his radar, plus he's only making about $1.5 so you know he would love to come back to the SEC.

McElwain would be a great fit but he does not want to leave Colorado. He and his wife love it there and no pressure with that job. Would be surprised if he took the job if offered...
