CMR is not deserving of an extension. I am not crazy about all the conspiracy ideas, or he doesn't know what he is doing. I just know that under his watch, he cannot produce a consistent defense with his hires. I believe Pruitt will get there, but I sure wouldn't extend CMR's contract until they do.

I think CMR is a smart man. Believe if any of us had the chance to sit down and talk X's and O's, we would learn quite a bit. Going to make a comment though that I have been thinking about awhile. CMR is not a front runner. He is an underdog. Same for his coaching. Put his back against the wall, he usually coaches better. Tell him his team is good and should win, pretty poor IMO.

Would the Gurley issue be as big of a deal, if we had a top 5 defense?
