Watch ESPNU Friday night 7 months 4 weeks ago #1

Fun high school game Friday night at 8:00....you may want to tune in.

Yulee (3-1) against (Belle Glade Fl) Glades Day HS (4-0). Two of the best running backs in the history of HS football.

Yulee obviously with Derrick Henry and Glades Day HS with Kelvin Taylor (Fred Taylor's son...a UF commit, big surprise).

Taylor has 10,582 career yards (although he played in the 8th grade which that year doesn't count towards the record books)

Henry has 9255 career yards (from 9th grade).

Both can catch the all time rushing record of 11,232 yards that was set 60 years ago by Ken Hall in Texas.

Tune in....you will be seeing the top 2 RB's (yardage wise) in the HISTORY of HS football. Probably a fun game to watch (btw, Henry is going to announce at 3:30 tomorrow before the game).

wlayton, intend to watch this game. DVRing just in case something comes up. Thanks for the tip. Have just about gotten to the point that I am all about high school and college football. NFL has me turned off big time. Maybe a smart move on Grantham's part . . . . :)

Couldn't agree with you more Buc. Some of the other professional sports have turned me off as well. I'll take the collegiate sports any day for my money.

Did some checking on the two schools, while these two young men are putting up impressive numbers, not exactly playing the schedules that prevent these numbers either. Can only imagine what Gurley and Marshall would do under the same circumstances.

Will be interesting to watch and see where Henry decides to play. Still think it will be Tennessee. I am usually wrong about 99% of the time so . . . . . :)

Believe you are right....he knows he can start at UT. May not get much playing time at UGA or BAMA.

wlayton, Henry might fool many that think he can't be a big hit as a running back in college. Seems to be a good young fellow, can't help where he was born and attended high school.

I would be shocked if he cast his lot with UGA, like I said, 99% of the time I am wrong.

Read somewhere that Saban or the coaches at Alabama figured him to play tightend. One thing for sure, when he hits the weight room his body is going to load up with muscle. I wish him well. Was disappointed at first, but I have learned over the years that we can't have everything we want.

Amazing how attitudes change when a Gurley/Marshall combo hits the Athens Campus. . . . . :) Speaking about my attitude . . . . :)

With Gurley and Marshall in Athens, I don't believe Henry would get much playing time. Also believe you are correct about him going to UT, especially if Saban wants or expects him to play TE. Henry wants NO part of that, he DEFINITELY wants to play RB at the next level.

As much as I have touted Henry the last 2 years, I feel Gurley and Marshall will outperform Henry at the collegiate level.

wlayton, you and I and everyone else can only go by what we see. Excited the heck out of me when you turned this board on to Henry. Henry will play football for someone. If Derek Dooley can get some 4 and 5 star athletes, he will improve UT's chances of moving up.

I also believe that DD is a good person and a good coach. Think he probably jumped too quick into the situation at Tennessee. Hard to turn offers down from SEC schools. Track records not "names" usually support decisions like this. Henry stands a very good chance starting at UT.

Junkyard Dawgs . . . . can't get that thought out of my head! Great to return to our beginnings . . . hope that makes sense. :)
