OK, here is hoping that tomorrow in Columbia, Missouri that we come away with a victory. Feel that UGA 2012 is better prepared to play Missouri than we were Boise State in 2011. Thinking, hoping that lessons were learned from the game in Atlanta last season.
Many returning members of this football team said they were on a mission. Hope also that all of the players dreams and hard work throughout the offseason pays dividends.
HIGH FIVES TO THE PLAYERS THAT RETURNED AND WILL PLAY THEIR HEARTS OUT. YOU ARE APPRECIATED BY MANY THOUSANDS.
No score predictions this evening from Buc, just crossed fingers and let's get it on.
Need to "shake" these "butterflies" in the worst way, driving me nuts.
Really don't have much more to say other than I have enjoyed the conversation on this board and . . .
I hear what you say Buc. Need to start watching some football to get my mind off what I am thinking. Good thing our HS team is at home tonight (although they are 0-2) and not looking good tonight.
The biggest difference I see in the way we opened '11 compared to '12 is that we played a highly hyped game right out of the chute. I am sure there are butterflies before every game. Playing a big game on the road will be tough. Our guys have seen action now and should draw from that experience.
Lot being said about weight of this game. I can't help but think of the Penn St game. Their emotions were high, but that did not translate to execution on the field. Thinking Missou might have the same fortune.
I feel about the same way Buc, I think we played vanilla last week. I was disappointed in the Def effort. I felt like they just came out and didnt have to really fight. But this week I feel like they will come out fired up, as I am sure it will be easy to get up for this game. Anyway I think we win if we run Gurley at least 20 times in this game. GOOO DAWGS!!!!!
